I was just surfing around the interweb late last night and to my surprise found out that an old favorite band of mine, Tokyo Police Club has just released their first single off of their upcoming album, Champ. The track is called Breakneck Speed and if you enjoyed any of the band's 2008 album, Elephant Shell, you likely won't be disappointed here, though thats not to say that this new release is simply a retread of what we've already heard before. The track is posted on the band's website for free download, so make sure to hit that up if you like what you hear. With their sophomore effort set to drop June 8th, the guys plan to start an American tour with Passion Pit the following day. They are also anticipated to play at both Coachella and Bonaroo.
